The CAPS are borrowed from hip-hop culture and then modified. They will be used as basis and inspiration for costumes and masks in the theatre project. A team in Berlin designs the caps under the guidance of our designer Beate Huss. They are, for example, double the hight or equipped with four screens. The team will reconstruct an evolution of the cap, or rather, what that may have looked like. Thus, the caps reference headdresses of other cultures and display global and historical relations.
